Covid-19 Information
Dear Patients,

we hope this message finds you and your family safe and in good health. Our dental family has been working hard since day one of this crisis, during which we have been taking care of select emergent and urgent dental patients. In addition, we have spent countless hours in preparation for re-opening to ensure the safest environment possible, for both our patients
and staff.

In following the American Dental Association guidelines as well as the Rhode Island Dental Association recommendations and in accordance with following the advisement of our Governor, our office is excited to
announce, that we will re-open May 11th.

As we navigate this strange time together, you may notice a few changes at your next dental appointment:

For the time being, all patients will be contacted prior to their appointment and screened to ensure we can treat you comfortably and safely. Upon arrival to our office, patients and staff will have their temperature taken. When coming to our office, please wear a mask. We will be doing the same and look forward to a time soon when we can see your smiling faces
mask-free! You will find hand sanitizer throughout our office and we ask that you use it, both upon arrival and at check-out. We will be modifying our scheduling to accommodate social distancing measures and to reduce wait times. Please be sure to be on time for your appointment since we may have less ability to accommodate late arrivals. We may schedule appointments and collect co-pays over the phone to reduce time and contact points in our office. You will find limited seating in our waiting room to accommodate social distancing. If you are asked to wait in your car upon arrival, please don't be offended, we are just trying to keep everyone as safe as possible.

What are we doing in addition to standard requirements to keep you and your
family safe?

-Four medical grade HEPA filters will be running to clean the air.
-Large evacuation units specially designed to reduce aerosols will be in use
-UV-C light sterilization will be used to clean our PPE
-UV-C light sterilization (as used in hospitals) will be used nightly to
sterilize all office surfaces in addition to our EPA-approved cleaning
agents
-Ozone generator (as used in hospitals) will be used to sterilize our all
office surfaces and air
-Physical barriers have been installed at the front office
-Hand sanitizing stations have been put at check-in and check-out
-Patients and staff are screened for COVID-19 and patient's and staff
temperatures are taken every time they enter our office
-Our schedule has been modified to allow for additional cleaning and
sterilization
-All patients and staff are asked to wear a mask at all times (when
possible)
-All high traffic points of contact (door knobs, chairs, etc) are being
cleaned and disinfected with EPA-approved cleaning agents multiple times
per day

We have taken this crisis very serious and are extremely confident in returning to our office, while providing both our patients and staff with the highest quality care in the safest environment possible.

As always, we are happy to answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!
